The last several several weeks have been extremely busy for Roger and I. I've had fun creating vintage looking mirrors from thrift store frames. This project uses stamps, ink, ink pad, Mirror spray, a transfer and Little Black Dress DIY paint as well as paint for the frame and Big Top. You can watch how to create this look on my YouTube video. By the way, if you haven't already please subscribe to my YouTube channel. I try to do at least one video a week showing how to use Debi's DIY Paint and Iron Orchid Designs products. Watch it here.
I also created some fun trinket dishes out of shells. I will be publishing a video on them soon so look for it on YouTube. These are made with IOD transfer pieces, IOD clay and moulds. Then they are painted with Pennies from Heaven, our copper patina. Watch for a kit for these soon.
I also created the dresser with Debi's DIY paints and Fronds Botanical Transfer. There is a video on this process too. Catch it here on YouTube.
Looks like Roger will be having hernia surgery at the end of this month. I hope it didn't come from lifting furniture but I am sure that added to the problem. I am going to invest in a hydraulic lift I can use to lift furniture into and out of our car.
Don't forget to watch me live (or on replay) on the DIY Paint Facebook Page every Monday at 12 Noon Eastern.
