Meet Kathy Goodson

Welcome to Goodson Vintage Treasures!

I'm Kathy Goodson, the owner of Goodson Vintage Treasures, an online shop and vintage business based in North Carolina. After retiring from a rewarding career as a 5th-grade teacher, I turned my lifelong love of antiques, collectibles, crafting, and decorating into a business that allows me to share my passion with others.

My husband, Roger, and I have spent many years exploring antique stores, estate sales, flea markets, auctions, and vintage markets in search of unique treasures. What began as a hobby quickly became a way of life. We love the history, craftsmanship, and stories behind vintage items and enjoy helping others find special pieces for their homes and collections.

Today, Goodson Vintage Treasures offers a carefully curated selection of antiques, collectibles, vintage décor, craft supplies, and creative products. We are proud retailers of Iron Orchid Designs (IOD) products and Debi's DIY Paint, helping customers create beautiful projects while preserving the charm of vintage style.

You can shop with us online through our Etsy store and website, and you can also find many of our antiques and collectibles in our North Carolina booth locations.

Why I Love What I Do

Teaching taught me the importance of creativity, patience, and lifelong learning. Those same qualities inspire my work today. Whether I'm helping a customer find the perfect vintage piece, creating a project with IOD products, or sharing decorating ideas, I enjoy connecting with people who appreciate beauty, history, and creativity.

Every item has a story, and I love helping those stories find a new home.
