DIY Paint ™ is clay and chalk based paint. Easy to use and full of pigment. I have painted many pieces of furniture with this paint.
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Clean the object you are going to paint.
- If the surface is shiny, cherry wood, mahogany, or very old furniture it may need to be primed first. Use our Salvation Solution first to prevent bleed through
- Remove lid & stir if needed
- Apply a coat of paint. Paint will dry in 15 minutes to 1 hour. The more humid the climate the longer it takes to dry.
- Apply second coat, if needed. Generally, light colors, like white will need more coats.
- Allow second coat to dry well. I like to wait 24 hours before applying sealers.
- Seal surface with DIY Paint ™ Big Top, Waxes or Patinas.
